European tenders (TED)
Tenders Electronic Daily is the official journal of European Union public procurement. Contracts above the EU threshold are published there, so for cross-border tendering it is a source that Slovak registers cannot replace.
What the register contains
- Number of notices the entity appears in
- Total value of those notices
- Publication number, title and publication date
Fields we return
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| count | Number of notices for the entity. |
| total_value | Total value of the notices. |
| publication_number | TED publication number of the notice. |
| title | Contract title. |
| publication_date | Date the notice was published. |
| value | Value of that particular notice. |
| currency | Currency the value is stated in. |
What it is used for
When assessing large contracting authorities, TED complements the Slovak registers – contracts above the EU threshold are not necessarily visible in the national journal to the same extent.
For suppliers, the notice list of a given contracting authority shows what and how much it procures, and therefore the size of the opportunity.
Frequently asked questions
Do you return contracts the company won, or ones it tendered?
Notices are matched on the contracting authority identifier, so we return contracts where the entity is the buyer. Contracts won by Slovak suppliers are under the procurement scope.
How many notices do you return?
A summary count and value plus the 5 most recent notices. Full history is available directly in TED via the publication number.
