VšZP health insurance debtors
VšZP is the largest health insurer in Slovakia and publishes its own debtor list. A company can be clear with Social Insurance and with the tax office and still appear here.
What the register contains
- Whether the entity is listed as a VšZP debtor
- Amount owed in EUR
- Date from which the entity has been on the list

What it is used for
Health insurance arrears are as strong a signal as social insurance arrears – both are fixed monthly liabilities tied to payroll. A company not paying them usually cannot.
Because there are three health insurers each keeping its own list, checking only one proves nothing. That is why all three come back in a single sources array.
Frequently asked questions
Why check all three insurers?
Because employees may be insured with any of them and the company pays into whichever insurer each employee belongs to. Absence from the VšZP list says nothing about Dôvera or Union.
Does an empty response mean the company owes nothing?
It means it is not in the latest published list. The lists have a threshold below which debt is not published, plus a monthly lag.
