Register of qualified suppliers
The register of economic operators is maintained by the Slovak Public Procurement Office. An entry means the entity once demonstrated it meets the conditions of participation and need not document them again in subsequent tenders – a practical indicator that the company passed a formal vetting.
What the register contains
- Whether the company holds a valid entry in the register
- Registration number of the entry
- Validity period of the entry
Fields we return
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| is_qualified_supplier | Whether the entity holds a valid entry in the register. |
| registration_id | Registration number of the entry. |
| valid_from | Date from which the entry is valid. |
| valid_to | Date until which the entry is valid. |
What it is used for
When vetting a supplier a valid entry is a shortcut: the entity has already demonstrated integrity, absence of arrears and professional capacity to the Public Procurement Office.
For this source the valid_to field matters more than the flag itself – an entry nearing expiry means the company will have to prove the conditions again.
Frequently asked questions
Does an entry mean the company won a contract?
No. It means it demonstrated it meets the conditions of participation. Awarded contracts are under the procurement scope.
What if is_qualified_supplier is false but registration_id exists?
It means an entry existed but is no longer valid. That is why we return both rather than collapsing them into one flag.
