- Licence status and validity period
Fields we return
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| license_number | Administrator licence number. |
| region | District in which the administrator practises. |
| status | Licence status. |
| valid_from | Date from which the licence is valid. |
| valid_to | Date until which the licence is valid, or null. |
What it is used for
For insolvency proceedings we return the administrator name in the insolvency field. This register adds whether that administrator holds a valid licence and where they practise.
For law firms it is a way to verify a counterparty entitlement to act as administrator without searching the register by hand.
Frequently asked questions
Do you return an administrator for companies that are not in bankruptcy?
This source is returned when the entity itself is a registered administrator. The administrator appointed in a bankruptcy appears in the administrator field of the insolvency proceeding.
What does null in valid_to mean?
That the licence has no set end date. We do not conflate that with a terminated licence, which carries a concrete date.
