Union health insurance debtors
Union is the third health insurer operating in Slovakia. Its debtor list is smaller than those of VšZP and Dôvera, but for companies whose employees are insured with Union it is the only place their arrears will show.
What the register contains
- Whether the entity is listed as a Union debtor
- Amount owed in EUR
- Date from which the entity has been on the list

What it is used for
For a small company with a handful of employees, Union may be the only insurer it pays into. Skipping this list would then miss the arrears entirely.
For automated counterparty checks it pays to treat the debt list as a whole rather than evaluating each insurer separately.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Union list shorter?
Because Union has a smaller share of insured people. A shorter list does not mean a less reliable one – it means fewer entities belong on it.
What if the list cannot be fetched?
We return an error, not an empty result. Claiming a company is clear when we never reached the data would be more dangerous than not answering.
